No surprises, and no disappointments! SHR has established itself as the only refiner who puts YOU in Control. We provide a karat scrap calculator for shipped karat gold. Your karat gold is always considered and paid as plumb gold .417, .585, .750, etc. – and we never deduct for after melt weight loss. Approved accounts can simply enter current spot and dwt/gram of each karat to see estimated settlement. Or, if you prefer, we are happy to smelt and perform our 24-step fire assay on your entire karat gold lot. Minimum Treatment fee is $50, with 98% payout. For this option, please note on your SHR Packing Slip and allow approximately 3-5 business days for labs to be completed. We are happy to advance on your karat gold lot as well. Three options for refining your silver are: 1. Karat Kalculator immediate settlement, 2. 92% of After-melt weight and assay with $0 in treatment fees. 3. 97% of After-melt weight and assay with $250/$300 fee (see with and without Cadmium present). You decide which works best for you. On large mixed silver jewelery lots, we recommend the straight 92%, $0 fee. Options 2 & 3 take about 2 weeks to process and settle. Silver Metallics (80-95%) (Sterling Silver)     Treatment Charge Per Lot: Melt/Assay Fee *$0.30/t.oz. ($250.00 minimum) Silver: We will pay for, consign, or Return the following percent of Assayed Fine Metal Content 97% Final Settlement: From Date of Official Receipt to Date of Metal Payment or Availability 2 Weeks *Presence of Cadmium requires adjustment of treatment charge to $0.95/t.oz. ($300.00 minimum will apply.)     2 SHR’s Refining of Bench Filings is as follows: Au is 98% Payable, Ag is 95% Payable, Minimum Treatment Charge is $100. Bench Filings take approximately 1-2 weeks. SHR’s Refining of Polishings & Buffings is as follows: Au 95% payable, Ag 95% payable, Minimum T reatment Charge is $200. Polishing dirt takes approximately 4-6 weeks. SHR's stone removal is paid at 98% of assay (aka Strip Lots/Acid Wash) and takes approximately 2 weeks. 100% of your stones are safely removed, cleaned and returned to you. CZs, if any, will be frosted. Minimum Treatment charge for stone removal is $175. Dead Watch Batteries are processed within 24 hours. We separate lithium and non-silver oxide batteries and safely dispose of them for you as well. Contact us for current payout and flat rate shipping reimbursement formula.
